More about IMS
Open each topic for additional background preserved from the original IMS website.
The International Montessori School (IMS) was established in 2004 to provide parents in the Indianapolis area (Carmel, Zionsville, Indianapolis, Westfield, Fishers and Noblesville, IN) with an affordable option for high quality, early childhood education (pre-school / K-3). IMS Principal and Directress, Ranee Dhadialla, combines her Montessori training with over forty-five years of teaching experience to create a nurturing environment for early childhood development. At IMS, students gain foundational scholastic and life skills, like a genuine love for learning, while being exposed to their culturally diverse world.
The IMS community has grown considerably from its first set of parents to a community of over four hundred IMS parents, many of whom want to stay in touch long after their child has graduated. Three classrooms are subdivided into a pre-Kindergarten program and a Kindergarten program, which provides extended afternoon instruction based on the age and advancement of the student. The Lower Elementary classroom caters for students in Grades 1-3.
